左手を挙げている猫は人（お客様）を招くそうです。
それでは両手を挙げている猫はどうなると思いますか？
両方を手に入れられるという意味と、欲張り過ぎでバンザイしているという意味もあるそうです。
そのためか、このお茶碗は両手を挙げず、それぞれ片方ずつ挙げている猫が描かれているのかもしれませんね。
