個人的なことではありますが、昨日髪を切りました。
いつも行く築地のチェーン店の千円カットではなく、家の近くにある個人の千円カットです。
初めて行くので事前にwebで調べたところ、”１０分カットとは違い、普通の美容院のように時間をかけてあなたの要望にあったカットをします”と書いてありました。
お店に行くと、同じ文言の看板があったので安心して入店しました。
入店すると6畳の部屋の真ん中に大きな鏡と椅子だけがある状況で、誰もお客様はおりません。
そして冷房がなく、扇風機のみで蒸し暑さがありました。
お店の方はやる気のなさそうな40歳くらいの男性です。
不安に思いつつ、椅子に着席。
店員：「何センチ切りますか？」
私：「今の半分くらいでお願いします。」
店員：「はーい。」
その返事の数秒後バリカンで坊主になるんじゃないかという勢いで刈り上げられていきました。
私は社会人3年目に初めての千円カットで地肌が出るほどの丸坊主になった経験があります。
その時を思い出して心配になった瞬間、バリカンは止まりました。
そして無造作にハサミでカット。
数分後、
店員：「はい、OKです。」
私：「・・・（え？）」
その時の私は、切った髪の毛が顔にも頭にも大量についた状態です。
普通掃除機みたいに吸ったり、顔を刷毛やおしぼりで綺麗にすると思いますが、それすらありませんでした。
頭の後ろのカットについて、鏡を使って問題ないか確認すると思いますが、それもありませんでした。
とても驚いて退店。
滞在時間はわずか7分の出来事でした。
“時間をかけてあなたの要望にあったカット”はどこに行ってしまったのでしょうか。
改めてサービスについて考えさせられる出来事でした。
私達はお客様の為に最大限の努力をしていますが、改めて裏切らず、期待以上の仕事をできるように頑張っていきたいと思いました。
やっぱり騙されたと思ったら二度と行こうと思いませんよね。

大きいものだけでなく、今回は少し小さめの飾皿も入荷しました。
正直値段は高いですけど、手書きならではの味わいがありますね。
