【新商品】織部のコーヒーカップとソーサーセット

今日の商品紹介はこちら。

 

織部のコーヒーソーサーセットです。
お菓子受けもありますので、来客時にも使えます。

ちなみに18世紀頃のヨーロッパでは、ソーサーは熱いコーヒーを冷ます為にソーサーに注いで飲んでいたそうです。
当時のヨーロッパの方は猫舌が多く、コーヒーカップも湯呑みのように取っ手がなかったそうです。
その後、取っ手が取り付けられ、今のようにコーヒーカップの受け皿として使うようになったらしいです。

時代の流れは面白いものですね。

こちらの瓶敷は三脚にゴムがついている為、滑らないようになっています。

【新商品】「の」の字の多用丼

今日の商品紹介はこちら。

銀色の「の」の文字が入った丼です。
白と黒のシンプルな模様の中に「の」のシルバーの文字が入っています。
「の」の文字の力強さがいい感じですね。

「の」は「乃」の漢字が変化したものらしいです。
ちなみに「乃」は、形が弓の弦をはずして緩く垂れている形に似ていることから、「弦がゆるんだまま→そのまま」と使われたことが始まりだといわれます。
1つ勉強になりましたね。
とはいうものの、役に立つ話ではないかもしれません（笑）
